You will love the exciting storyline. The characters are truly fantastic.Rhett is a sexy skin shifter. Skin shifters do not shift, but they can control and link-up to animals. Rhett gets a job as a cop for the town of Colwood. The sheriff hired him because of his ability. The first day on the job he gets a call about an out of control shifter. When he arrived he discovered a sexy small woman. Only she is also a dominant Grizzly bear! He feels drawn to her right from the beginning.
Joan is a small feisty woman, but her inner animal is a huge Grizzly bear. For years she has trouble controlling her beast. This was until she meets Rhett. Rhett takes control of her bear . He calms her down which shocks Joan. It seems fate has led her to this little town to find her mate.
Then Rhett takes her with him on a call. It seems a group of shifters who call themselves The Crew. Are fighting among themselves. The Crew needs an Alpha to settle them down. And as luck would have it Joan's bear needs a crew to dominate. Can all of them make this work?

Wished the story was longer, but it was an outstanding love story. With the h was very down on her luck, the hero (H) was there to pick her up. They became mates with her becoming alpha of her own pack. Short read, but a must read.
Rhett is a skin shifter. He can dominates animals, including shape shifters, with his mind. He's a caring, responsible guy, trying to up for past mistakes. He's been recruited to help control uncontrolled shifters in his new hometown. When he comes across Joan he realizes she needs help and he's ready to help her. Love the way this novella depicts an alternate world that is detailed and realistic. Seeing Joan overcome her issues with Rhett helping her is rewarding in many ways. Great couple.
This is a beautiful addition to the Vega Brothers and the Clawed Squad....Here we meet Rhett, a skin shifter. He is a relative of Tyler from the Clawed Squad. He and two others left their clan to look for their "fortunes" elsewhere. In this story we discover Rhett finding his mate in a very petite package that holds a speeding train of a bear. His experience at being a cop is hilarious especially in how his two other cronies act---can you say like aging doby gillis!!??

I love the clans continuation, almost like returning to a familiar neighborhood. Skin shifting is such an interesting change in shifter books, and no one pulls you in as much as Kim Fox. Also delightful is an out-of-control dominant alpha who is also a tiny woman with a BIG attitude. Who else could have "tamed" the Wilde crew?
Wow. Another fun story, set in Colwood. I'm really glad I have not chased by crows or ravens; it was bad enough when two of our cats were being divebombed by crows. (True story) - Joan reminds me of my wife! Except the shifter part. Although her boobs have grown since we met (lol) and she would probably kill me if she ever read this. A little less stress than the Vega brothers. Enjoy!
Easy was not a word in Rhett’s vocabulary. Trying to survive with the Chevy brothers attached to him had been very difficult. When they seemed at the end of the rope Stetson’s mate offered an opportunity and they seized it. His abilities as a skin shifter would be useful and his first task was evidence of it. Joan Heller had a dominant bear without control and had made her lost everything in her life. Getting involved with the sexy Rhett and the Wilde Crew had her thinking. Rhett character had given a 90 grade turn. We had a more mature skin shifter trying to appease his conscience getting the better of him and being useful. This story had romance, fights and good sex. The playfulness between Rhett and Joan was amusing, entertaining and hot. The Wilde Crew had some mystery and I’m eager for Gunner’s story and to get rid of the galling crows. Hope Rhett get some mojo to get rid of them.

I downloaded The Wilde Crew Rhett as a free book from . Somewhat simplistic with an Animal House (yes, pun intended) feel, with somewhat immature characters who don't seem to take their life seriously. The side kicks are cartoon-ish and I feel the book would have been better without them to detract from the story line. There wasn't any meat in the story, and the love conflict was weak, at best. It was a decent read for a freebie, but I'm not encouraged to read more of the series.
